Giorgos “Kokos” Nicolaou, son of Socrates Nicolaou and Meropi Symeou. He was a reservist serving at the 181 Lowland Artillery Squadron. Giorgos was 21 years old and single at the time. He was studying architecture at the Doxiadis School in Athens. He was last seen during the battles of Syghari on July 23rd 1974 and according to witness reports he fell defending his country. However, his remains have not been identified yet.
