Nikolas Sfoggaras, son of Charalampos Sfoggaras and Styliani Pavlou. He was born in Kyrenia on May 26th 1904. He voluntarily joined the Cypriot Regiment in Libya, where he was killed while on duty on December 25th 1940, leaving behind his wife Maria Laouta from Palaiosofos and his five children, namely Anastasia, whose son has been missing since July 1974, Christos, Charalampia, Giorgos and Yiannis.
