Costas Moiranthis, son of Yiannis Hadji Tsiripillou and Theonitsa Hadji Papacostanti from Agios Ioannis Agrou. He was a retired teacher, writer and musician. Costas Moiranthis was a 70-year-old married civilian at the time. According to witness reports, he was murdered on the outskirts of Kyrenia on July 22nd 1974 during the advance of the Turkish army after the cease fire was agreed. His remains have not been identified yet. He left behind his wife Olga, his sons Dafnis and Alkis, his daughter Leda and his six grandchildren.
