Michalakis “Lakis” Proestos, son of Omiros Proestos and Maroula Vasileiou. He was a reservist serving at the 251 Infantry Battalion. Michalakis was 31 years old and single at the time. He was last seen on July 23rd 1974 somewhere between Bellapais and Syghari and he has been missing since then.
